The different areas within the estate, temporary exhibitions and audioguides are accessible free to school children, European Union residents under 26 years of age, under 18s, teachers working in French schools with their card Pass éducation, disabled people, job seekers on presentation of a valid justification.

People entitled to free tickets can go directly to the entrance to the Palace.

The first Sunday from November to March, admission is free for tours :

-The Apartments of the Dauphin, Dauphine
- Mesdames’ Apartments
- Historic galeries
- The Coronation Room, the Battles Gallery, the 1830 Room
- Grand Trianon and the Estate of Marie-Antoinette

- AMembers of friends of national museums associations
- Visitors with a large family discount card              
- Visitors paying admission fees with holiday cheques
