The daily guided tours, in French and English, given by lecturers from the national museums, will admit you to the private apartments of the kings, queens and high-ranking nobles.
As soon as you arrive, go to the Palace information point to find out the programme for the day (from 9 am to 3.15 pm, subject to availability).
Themed tours are given in French, by lecturers from the national museums and from time to time by curators and artisans d’art.
Throughout the year, a huge choice of tours is available with new themes to show you the techniques, historical days, entertainments and music.

With the Tourist information Office of Versailles
The Tourist Information Office of Versailles proposes a guided tour of the room of the Jeu de Paume where the Third Estate made its oath. Every Saturday, 3 pm.
Because of a national strike notice, the opening of the Palace to the public is not guaranteed.
The garden will be exceptionally closed at 5.30 pm on 31 August - 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18 September
