To discover the Versailles Estate in all its glory, the Passport gives you admission to all the Palace tours : grounds, Trianon palaces and Marie-Antoinette's Estate. Musical Fountain Show, Musical Gardens (from april to october) and exhibitions are also included.

Admission to the permanent collections of the Palace (Grand Apartments, Hall of Mirrors, etc.), the Trianon Palaces, Marie-Antoinette’s Estate, the temporary exhibitions plus the audio guides is free for:

under-18s, young people under 26 years old who are residents of the European Union, schoolchildren, teachers assigned to a French establishment bearing their “Pass Education”, disabled persons and their accompanying adult, and French job-seekers on presentation of documentary proof dating from less than 6 months before, etc.

Fountains Shows and Musical Gardens

From March to October, discover the gardens differently during the Musical Gardens, Musical Fountains Show and Fountains Night Show.

Musical Fountains Show

Set out to explore the fountains and groves with their water features spouting to the rhythm of music. Several circuits are available to enable you to enjoy the numerous masterpieces of the gardens or lead you to their most secret spots.

Saturdays and Sundays from 30 March to 27 October 2013, Tuesdays from 21 May to 25 June 2013 as well as on some additional dates (Friday 29 March, Wednesday 8 May, Thursdays 9 May and 15 August 2013).

The fountains are activated at weekends and on public holidays from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 3:30 to 5:00 pm (Neptune Fountain from 5:20 to 5:30 pm). Also on Tuesdays and on 29 March from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 to 4:00 pm.

Musical Gardens

To allow you to enjoy the gardens in fine weather, the groves and other preserved areas of the gardens are accessible on certain Tuesdays from April to October for a musical promenade: a chance to discover some of the finest features or the French-style formal gardens designed by André Le Nôtre.

Tuesdays from 2 April to 14 May as well as Tuesdays from 2 July to 29 October 2013.

Music plays from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.

The Fountains Night Show

When night falls, the gardens are transformed to offer a stunning visual and musical treat as fountains and groves come alive with colourful and dramatic lighting effects. This year once more, lighting and stage-effects artists will light up the gardens and display their surprising installations to the strollers: water features in the Mirror Fountain, lasers streaking across the dark in the Colonnade Grove and the fireworks display in front of the Grand Canal by the Groupe F to conclude the evening’s entertainment.

Every Saturday from 20 July to 14 September 2013 as well as on some additional dates (Fridays 14 June and 12 July, Saturdays 22 and 29 June 2013).

Water features from 9:05 to 10:55 pm. The fireworks display starts at around 11:00 pm.

The Royal Serenade of the Hall of Mirrors

Just before the Fountains Night Show, the musicians and dancers of the Compagnie Baroque await you to join in a French-style ball in the sumptuous setting of the Hall of Mirrors.

Every Saturday from 20 July to 14 September 2013 as well as on some additional dates (Fridays 14 June and 12 July, Saturdays 22 and 29 June and 6 July 2013).

Departures at 6:40, 7:00, 7:20, 7:40, 8:00 and 8:15 pm.

Discover the intimate life of Versailles

All year round, discover the intimate life of the French kings and explore the private apartments of Louis XV and Louis XVI followed by the Royal Opera and the Royal Chapel.
Several departures every day, except Mondays and public holidays.

In summer, discover also the favourite Estate of Marie-Antoinette, the Petit Trianon and the Queen’s Theatre.
2 departures every Friday from July to September.
