Creation of landscape designer Louis Benech at the heart of the gardens of Versailles, the Versailles XXI bench has brought the Water Theater Grove, created in 1671 by André Le Nôtre, back to life. This fine craftsman of landscape conceived for the occasion a bench designed as an invitation to contemplate the Water Theater Grove.

CONTEMPORARY BENCHES FOR THE WATER THEATER GROVE

Positioned along a path, by the ponds featuring monumental fountain sculptures by Jean-Michel Othoniel, or at the bottom of a tree, these benches blend harmoniously with the Grove, offering different perspectives over the garden.

THE VERSAILLES XXI BENCH, COMBINING TRIBUTE TO THE PAST ET CELEBRATION OF THE PRESENT

Within the Grove, open to all, the Versailles XXI bench celebrates the encounter between eras and styles. The very contemporary seat made out of concrete complements the fluted leg cut from red Languedoc marble, in reference to the classicism of Versailles.  These true works of contemporary art come in three sizes: 2.40m, 2m and 1,20m.
