By adopting one or several trees from among the 500 linden trees to be planted in the Mortemets Alley, you will bring the royal perspectives back to life in the Park of the Palace of Versailles.
Adopt a linden tree
THE MORTEMETS LINDEN TREE alley IS RESTORED TO ITS ORIGINAL DESIGN
We are now replanting the linden tree alley which is the continuation of the Apollon Alley, connecting the Palace of Versailles to the Mortemets, a waterfowl reserve in Louis XIV’s hunting grounds.
Integrated in 1662 in the great landscape composition created by André Le Nôtre, gardener to the Sun King, it forms part of the famous perspectives of the gardens of Versailles.
