As a reminder, the Palace, the Trianon Palaces and Marie-Antoinette’s Estate are closed on Mondays. The gardens and the Park are open every day.

When coming to Versailles on a crowded day, it is preferable to plan your visit as follows:
-  Gardens and Park: 9 am to 12 pm
-  Trianon Palaces and Marie-Antoinette’s Estate: 12 pm to 3 pm
-  Interiors of the Palace: starting at the 9 am opening time

"Palace of Versailles" application: The official Palace visit application

This application guides you through the rooms. It tells you how the King and the Court lived here and presents some of the masterpieces. The application makes it easier for visitors to plan their visit, to be guided through the Grand Apartments, the Apartments of Mesdames and the Gallery of Battles, and to gain a better understanding of the Palace. 
Available in French and English, this application can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and Google Play.


"Garden of Versailles" application: The official gardens visit application

Thanks to this new application’s 3D map and geolocation system, the Gardens of Versailles will no longer hold any secrets for you. The application provides audio and video commentary prepared by the curators, gardeners, fountain engineers and architects at Versailles. A one-hour walk in the footsteps of Versailles’ fountain engineers is specially designed for young visitors. The application can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and Google Play.
