To organise your visit:
- If you already have your tickets, go directly to the A access.
- If you do not have your tickets, go to the Ticket Information point as soon as you arrive, South Ministers' Wing





Some rules and regulations
- Pushchairs and baby carriers with metal frames are not allowed in the rooms. Bring a baby sling or carrier without a metal frame for infants under one year.
- Pets are not allowed.
- In the rooms: please switch off mobile phones and do not use flash photography.



For the ideal visit

- The Palace of Versailles is worth a full day's visit, to allow you to admire all its wonders at your own pace, from the royal Apartments to the Trianon Palaces and Marie-Antoinette's Estate, and including the gardens and their legendary groves.
- The passport allows you easy access to all these areas. Many restaurants and services are also available.

For a quick visit
- come in the morning between 9 and 10 am.
- come in the afternoon between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm (from 1 April to 31 October) and 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm (from 1 November to 31 March).

Remember to bring any documents proving your right to free tickets or reductions (European Union nationals under 26, under 18s, teachers in a French school, disabled people, job seekers, etc).
Teachers in France are invited to collect a free ticket from the Palace ticket offices before going to the access gate.


If you are only coming for the tour of the Trianon Palaces and Marie-Antoinette's Estate, purchase your tickets directly at the entrance to Marie-Antoinette's Estate or the Grand Trianon.

A mini-train
provides a shuttle service between the Palace and Trianon: it is useful for getting to Marie-Antoinette's Estate and the Grand Trianon

Electric vehicles
are available for people of reduced mobility, enabling them to make five tours completely independently, starting from the south Terrace (tour of the Gardens, Trianon and Queen's Hamlet, tour of the Grand Canal, complete tour of the Estate)

Exchange bureau at the Versailles Tourist Office, avenue de Paris, opposite the Palace.

There are no cloakrooms, but checkrooms are available for unauthorised objects (food, luggage, large umbrellas, tripods, etc).
