"Versailles Occupied. The Palace during the Second World War" brings together archives from the Palace of Versailles, as well as German, English and American archives and private collections. The research work is continuing, under the direction of Claire Bonnotte Khelil, scientific collaborator at the Palace of Versailles, author of Le Soleil éclipsé. Le château de Versailles sous l'Occupation, published by Vendémiaire.
If you have family archives (photographic, filmic, or other) of the Palace of Versailles during the Second World War, or in the years preceding or following the conflict, send an e-mail to contributions.archives@chateauversailles.fr attaching a photo of your archive(s), or a viewing link (for films), indicating the date, the place where the picture was taken, and all the information you have in your possession.
