Due to the very high temperatures this week, until Sunday 28th of June, the Palace and the Gardens will close at 4.30 pm and the Estate of Trianon closes at 4:15 pm, last access at 3:00 pm. Application of the Anti-terrorist security plan

To ensure the safety of our visitors, the Palace of Versailles is strictly applying security measures decided by the French authorities. The Palace and Estate of Versailles will remain open as usual. Gates openings are modified and bags are checked systematically.

Visitors are requested not to visit the Palace with bags or suitcases.

Large bags and suitcases are prohibited. No bags larger than the maximum size (55cm x 35cm x 20cm) will be admitted, and all bags must be checked and left at the left luggage desk.

All visitors must cooperate with security checks. The Palace of Versailles would like to thank visitors in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any delays caused by security checks at the entrances.

To ensure Vigipirate, every bag is controlled upon access and car trunk will be controled at the Queen's Gate entrance. 

In the event of an emergency, first leave the danger zone, alert the security personnel and follow their instructions.
