The EPICO programme gathers a team of specialists in preventive conservation, art historians, registrars and scientists since 2005. Preventive Conservation in Historic-Houses and Palace-Museums: Assesment Methodologies and Applications, proceedings drawn from the conference organized by the Public Establishment of the Palace, by the National Museum of the Palace of Versailles, the European Royal Residences Association (ARRE) and the Research Centre of the Palace of Versailles, in collaboration with the International Committee for Historic House Museums, held at the Palace of Versailles from november 29th to december 1st, 2017. 

The EPICO team from the Palace fo Versailles and the European Royal Residences Association (ARRE) are glad to announce the publication of the conference proceedings:

The conference proceedings are available for free download on the website of the European Royal Residences Association (ARRE):  

48 articles devoted to themes such as evaluation of collections, risk management, science applied to preventive conservation of collections, research issues, climate, light, works, building, maintenance of collections and so on. New documents on the theme of preventive conservation of historic residences will be regularly published on the new EPICO page on the European Royal Residences Association website.
