From September 14th to November 21st, the Palace of Versailles is exhibited in the Petit Trianon. The artist Patrick Hourcade, displays a series of photographs showing the Estate of Versailles under the moonlight.

The Exhibition
This automn, the Petit Trianon homes a contemporary exhibition from the artist and photographer Patrick Hourcade. The tour includes 25 photographs taken at the Estate of Versailles during three nights spent by the artist at the heart of the royal residence and away from the lights.
These photographs taken in the loneliness of the night are the result of three years of work, and offer a unique experience, almost intimate, with a Palace of Versailles imbued with both melancoly and magnitude.

The Artist
Former student of André Chastel, Patrick Hourcade was the artistic director of Vogue Paris, before deciding to devote himself entirely to photography. Also famous as a scenographic set desinger, he directed many projects such as Fêtes et Divertissements à la Cour, presented at the château de Versailles in 2016-2017.
