The Palace of Versailles would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year for 2023.
On the first day of the year, the Palace of Versailles and the Trianon Estate will be closed, but the Jardins and Park of Versailles will remain open. Admission is via the Queen’s Gate and the Saint Anthony Gate, the Honour Gate and the Sailors’ Gate, from 8 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. For more information, see please see our opening times and conditions of access.
A new year, new exhibitions!
In 2023, the Palace of Versailles will once again be pleased to welcome you to its current exhibition, Louis XV, Passions of a King, which focuses on a monarch who was better known for his title than for his passions, family life and influence on the arts of his time.

In the spring of 2023, the Palace of Versailles will present :
The Echo of Caravaggio at Versailles, an exhibition allowing visitors to discover, at eye level and for the first time, the masterpieces in the King’s Bedchamber by the painter Valentin de Boulogne.
Holiday programme
This festive season, take the opportunity to discover Versailles in a different way, by taking part in the King’s Tour and the Great Tour Louis XV !
On January 1, 2023, the Palace, the Gallery of coaches and the estate of Trianon are closed. The Garden and Park are open every day. For more information, see please see our opening times and conditions of access.
