To avoid waiting time at the audioguide desk, download now the free mobile app with all audioguides and information about you visit. The mobile app contains all the audioguides and further information to better visit Versailles. There are also two desks at your disposal where you can get audioguides with a specific waiting line.

Audioguides are on free loan to all visitors from 7 years old. The audioguide is available in 11 languages: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Korean and Polish, with the support of Orange Poland.

Content on the current exhibitions is also available in French, English and Spanish. In French only, there is adapted content on the State Appartements for children from the age of 7 years old.

There are two desks at your disposal where you can get your audioguides:

  • Vestibule of the Gabriel pavilion: every day from the opening of the Palace till 30 minutes before last admission, ie 5.30 pm in high season and 4.30 pm in low season.
    To know detailed opening times, please refer back to the practical information section.
  • Marble Vestibule (entrance  of the apartments of Louis XV's daughters): on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays every day from the opening of the Palace till 4.30pm in low season (from November to March) and everyday from the opening of the Palace till 30 minutes before last admission, ie 5.30 pm in high season (from April to October).

The audio guides are returned at the end of the visitor circuit, on the ground floor of the Dufour pavilion.
