Created in the Great Stables of the Palace of Versailles in 2003, the National Equestrian Academy is a major innovation in the field of live entertainment. This high-level higher education institution attaches huge importance to passing on its expertise through equestrian shows, guided and unaccompanied tours.
La Voie de l’Écuyer
The Academy presents its repertory show, taking the form of a new Opus each year combining the art of dressage, singing, stage fencing, kyudo (Japanese archery), and dance.
The performance is followed by an unaccompanied tour of the Stables.
Not recommended for children under 5

A Morning with the Equerries
The Academy offers visitors an opportunity to discover a place packed with history alongside the work of this contemporary Pages’ school. It is an invitation to witness the everyday life of the equerries and horses throughout the morning.

Guided tours every 20 minutes (last departure 11:20 am).

The Equestrian Arts Academy of Versailles
Over the course of your visit, discover the stables with its 40 horses, including the famous Lusitanians, a favourite of Louis XIV. Wander through the schools and admire the magnificent, wooden, Italian-style arena, where you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the riders in training.
