Fountains Shows and Musical Gardens
From April 1st to October 31st 2023, enjoy the Musical Gardens and the Great Musical Waters in the gardens and groves opened for the occasion. Every Saturday evening from 10 June to 23 September, Friday 14 July and Tuesday 15 August, discover the Gardens in the evening with the The Night Fountains Show.

Congress Chamber
Exceptional opening of the Congress Chamber
To mark the 150th anniversary of the Third Republic, the Palace of Versailles is opening the Congress Chamber and apartment of the President of the Congress and offering a special opportunity to take a self-guided or guided tour.

Late opening
Late opening Palace and Guillaume Bresson exhibition
Enjoy an exceptional late opening on Friday, March 21 to discover the exhibition dedicated to Guillaume Bresson, leading light of French figurative painting. You can also visit The State Apartments of the King and Queen, and the iconic Hall of Mirrors, which will remain open for the occasion.

Ballet Preljocaj : Requiem(s)
Between sadness, rage and moments of joy, French choreographer Angelin Preljocaj makes a stopover at the Royal Opera to present his new creation, more intimate than ever. After the emotion of Snow White and the transcendence of Triptych last season, Ballet Preljocaj reconquers the Versailles stage for a show built on rupture, glorifying Mozart's Requiem.

The Portrait of Louis XV as a child
An exceptional pastel, the Portrait of Louis XV as a child by Rosalba Carriera, is on display at the palace from Tuesday March 4, 2025. In this intimate portrait of the King, the artist expresses her virtuoso pastel technique in the velvety texture of the skin, the brilliance and softness of the gaze, and the movement and lightness of the curls.

Le Nôtre in perspectives
Discover André Le Nôtre, the Sun King’s gardener, well known for his geometric perspectives, his broad axes which add grand scale to gardens, and his secondary vistas which never fail to delight the eye of the beholder.

During guided tours, a speaker from the Palace invites you into lesser known locations otherwise closed to the visitors. You can also book online tours to discover the backstage of the Castle from your home!
