Librairie des Princes The Main Courtyard

The Librairie des Princes is laid out in like an apartment with various adjoining spaces. The book and gift store offers a range of books displayed with a careful selection of objects celebrating the art of living in the French style, including crystal glassworks, porcelain or scented candles. The store organises events such as meetings and signings with authors of works on the history of the Palace of Versailles.

The bookshop also contains the King's Medal Cabinet, which sells medals from the Arthus-Bertrand Versailles collection.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 am to 6:15 pm in high season (April to October) and 9:30 am to 5:15 pm in low season (November to March), closed on 1 May, 25 December and 1 January.

Access: accessible without a ticket in the South Ministers’ Wing, on the left as you enter the Main Courtyard.
