SHOWS at the palace
This sumptuous new season will be marked by 13 major stage projects, including 7 new productions:
- David et Jonathas by Charpentier,
- La Caravane du Caire by Grétry,
- Didon et Enée by Purcell,
- Armide by Lully,
- La Pastorale by Beethoven,
- Le Couronnement de Poppée by Monteverdi,
- Bastien et Bastienne by Mozart.
This programme will also feature emblematic works such as the famous Mozart-Da Ponte Trilogy given by the tandem of Marc Minkowski and Ivan Alexandre and Mozart's unforgettable Magic Flute by Hervé Niquet in a version sung entirely in French.
On the dance side, Angelin Preljocaj will return with his famous Swan Lake, which sold out 10 performances last December, and will present his new ballet, Mythologies, while Thierry Malandain will present La Pastorale on Beethoven's 6th Symphony.
