Event The European Night of Museums 2022
The European Night of Museums
For the European Night of Museums 2022, the Palace of Versailles is offering night owls the chance to discover an exceptionally open place, for a unique visiting experience.
The Sculptures and Mouldings Gallery
In the Petite Ecurie of the château, the Sculptures and Mouldings Gallery houses some of the original sculptures from the château's gardens, which have been sheltered from the weather for conservation reasons and replaced outside by copies. This space also houses the gypsothèque of the Louvre's Department of Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquities, a collection of casts of ancient sculptures that has been used to train French artists since Louis XIV.
