Today, the Palace is closing at 4:30 pm (last admission at 3:45 pm). The Trianon Estate is closing at 4:15 pm (last admission at 3:30 pm). 
The “Gardens of the Enlightenment, 1750-1800” exhibition at the Grand Trianon is closed.
We invite you to adjust the pace of your visit and take advantage of the estate’s cooler areas.

Gardens of the Enlightenment

The exhibition “Gardens of the Enlightenment, 1700–1800,” held from May 5 to September 27 2026 at the Grand Trianon, offers a unique insight into landscape gardens in the 18th century, through nearly 160 works.

Captain of the Guards' Apartment

To mark the 250th anniversary of the American Declaration of Independence, the Guards' Apartment will open its doors on the 4th of July with a new exhibition. The new galleries features paintings, sculptures, and portraits from the Palace's collection, highlighting the relationship between Versailles and the United States.

François Morellet at the Palace of Versailles

From June 30 to November 1, 2026, to celebrate the centennial of the birth of contemporary artist François Morellet (1926–2016), the Palace of Versailles will present six of his major works, which will engage in a dialogue with the opulent interiors of the Grand Apartments and the perspectives of the garden.

Royal Silks in Europe

The Network of European Royal Residencess and the Palace of Versailles Conservation Department present a virtual exhibition, “Royal Silks in Europe, Official Splendour and Private Apartments” bringing together 27 European royal residences. Brocades, damasks, chinés, and painted silks, discover these woven masterpiece that showcase the craftsmanship and refinement of royal residences across Europe.
