The "rose" pastry
A gourmet creation as part of the exhibition "Gardens of the Enlightenment, 1750-1800"
This creation takes the form of a soft, velvety powder-pink dome, crowned with a rose and delicate floral petals.
A composition inspired by the floral ornaments and botanical poetry of 18th-century gardens.
- Lime mousse: A tribute to the importance of citrus fruits in the Gardens of Versailles, carefully cultivated in the Orangery and regarded as symbols of prestige, modernity, and botanical expertise during the Age of Enlightenment.
- Hibiscus & blackberry heart: Its vibrant floral colour echoes the exotic flowerbeds introduced into the royal gardens.
- Vanilla financier: Adds a touch of indulgence and tradition.
- Rose: The queen of the garden and a symbol of refinement.
