Scoprite l’atmosfera intima e i decori raffinati del primo piano del castello, conosciuto come il Petit appartement du roi, che comprende il gabinetto della pendola, il gabinetto d’angolo recentemente restaurato, la biblioteca e il gabinetto dei giochi di Luigi XVI.

The Queen's private chambers have reopened after several years of work.  Located behind the State Apartment, these rooms were decorated with the greatest care and underwent numerous modifications. Marie-Antoinette left her exquisite mark on them with valuable furniture, paintings and art objects evoking her personality, lifestyle and passion for decoration, the arts and fashion.

In 1774, the Queen received the gift of the Petit Trianon from Louis XVI. The estate became her kingdom. Freed from the constraints of etiquette, she created a world in keeping with her own personality and the fashions of the day.
