An immersive experience
Virtual reality has come to the Palace! Our first experience, available on site at the Palace of Versailles entitled Versailles: Lost Gardens of the Sun King, coproduced by GEDEON Experiences, Small Creative, VIVE Arts and the Palace of Versailles, will be available onsite from 25th March 2025 to 4th January 2026.

Visitors will be able to explore iconic areas of the gardens which have now disappeared as they are projected into the heart of the 17th century for a poetic interactive walk led by André le Nôtre, Louis XIV’s gardener.
This is a unique opportunity to discover the royal Menagerie with its exotic animals, the Labyrinth Grove and its fountains, and the grotto of Thetis with its exceptional rocaille decor!
Practical information
Admission until 4 January 2026 via the Pavillon d'Orléans.
The experience is closed on 1 January 2026, and every Monday except: 14 July 2025.
Experience available in French, English and Chinese.
Time slots every 30 minutes
- Until 30, June:
From 9 am to 7.30 pm (last slot 7.30 pm)
- From 1st, July to 31st, August:
From 9 am to 7.30 pm (last slot 7.30 pm)
On Saturdays until 20 September, there is an additional slot at 8.30 pm
- From 1st, September to 4, January 2026:
