Free entry and reduced rates
- Admission to the Palace, the Estate of Trianon, and temporary exhibitions is free for visitors under 18 years (and under 26 years for UE residents) upon presentation of proof of identity.
- Warning, on days of Musical Fountains Shows and Musical Gardens, only kids up to 5 years old benefit from the free access to the Gardens.

Access for free tickets
Due to the current health situation, reservation with timed entry is mandatory for all to access the Palace. Book your ticket online and then go directly to entrance A of the Dufour Pavilion with your tickets and proof of elegibility for free entry.
To access the Estate of Trianon, book online and go directly to the Grand Trianon entrance with your ticket and proof of eligibility for free entry.
Large families
Reduced rates (€13 for the Palace ticket, €11 for the Estate of Trianon) are available for holders of large family reduction cards. Payment in holiday vouchers is only possible on site.
Go to the ticket counters at the Palace or the Grand Trianon. Access to the Petit Trianon and the Queen's Hamlet is currently via the Grand Trianon.

Organize your visit
For unaccompanied visits of the Palace:
Go to Entrance A with your tickets.
NB: tickets purchased online do not grant priority admission.
If you have not already purchased your tickets online, go to the ticket office in the South Ministers' Wing.
For a Family Activity or Guided Tour at the Palace:
Go to the guided tour entrance in the South Ministers' Wing with your booking information.
For a Family Activity or Guided Tour at the Estate of Trianon:
Go directly to the Grand Trianon entrance or the Petit Trianon entrance, depending on the location of your tour.
Yes, you can go straight to the unaccompanied visit of the Palace (the King's Apartments, the Royal Chapel, the Hall of Mirrors, the Apartments of Mesdames and the temporary exhibitions) or the Estate of Trianon (Petit Trianon or Grand Trianon) depending on the location of your activity.
Admission to the gardens is free except on Musical Fountains Show and Musical Gardens days when an admission fee is charged (free admission for children under 6 years old).
- Due to the closure of the left luggage service for sanitary reasons, the pushchairs are tolerated inside of the Palace. We strongly recommend the use of baby carriers and kangaroo bags as much as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
- Pushchairs are allowed in the Gardens and the Park.
- Under normal circumstances, pushchairs and metal baby carriers are not allowed inside of the Palace. You must leave them at the free bag deposit. We advise you to bring a baby carrier without a metal frame for babies under one year old.

No, you cannot book a family activity for your family only. You can, however, book a Private Tour (€1000) that allows you to customize your own personalized visit with a guide just for you and your family. Security officers are available to assist you. The officers can be identified by their badges. They are present throughout the visit (in the courtyard, gardens, and museum entrances and exits.) A lost child can ask them for help. The child will receive immediate assistance and the officers will take the necessary measures to find the child’s chaperones. Likewise, chaperones or parents can also receive assistance from security officers if they have lost a child.
The Palace reserves the right to change or cancel activities in the event of bad weather.

Automatic deposits are at your disposal to leave your personal items and luggage that do not exceed the limited format. You will find them at the Information points :
- South ministers' wing : free automatic deposits are available (for luggage not exceeding 46 x 43 x 26 cm)
- North ministers' wing : exclusively for school groups, free automatic deposits are available (for luggage not exceeding 46 x 43 x 26 cm)
Nevertheless, pushchairs are accepted in the museum.
The Palace and Estate of Versailles are open. In compliance with government regulations, health precautions and measures to control numbers have been put in place.
