The Palace of Versailles, the Grand and the Petit Trianon, the Park and Gardens are open.  
Booking a time slot is mandatory to access the Palace. Every visitor must have a ticket, including visitors eligible for free admission or reduced rate and even children.

The Palace and the Estate of Versailles are open. Prepare your visit by consulting the conditions of visit.

  • From July 21, in order to reduce the risk of transmission of Covid-19, and in application of governmental instructions, the presentation of a health pass or a negative PCR or antigen test from less than 48 hours will be mandatory to access the palaces and museums of the Estate of Versailles for all persons from 18 years old.
  • Versailles Château Rive Gauche and Versailles Chantiers stations are not served due to works on the RER C line from 15 July to 21 August 2021 inclusive. The Versailles Rive Droite station, 15 minutes walk from the Palace and the Park, is accessible by train (L line) from the St Lazare station in Paris and Versailles Chantiers Station is accessible by train (N line) from Montparnasse station in Paris.


  • Only single guided tours insure your group a direct slot for a tour and authorizes your guide to speak up to your group in the Museum during the tour.
  • Read our advice before your tour.
  • The Palace is open every day except Mondays from 9.00 am, but the Estate of Trianon and the Coach Gallery open in the afternoon.
  • The Gardens and the Park are open everyday.
