The Palace of Versailles Public Register of Accessibility is updated annually and can be consulted on site only, at the main visitor entrance, i.e. the Dufour Pavilion.

Opening hours
- The Palace is open to the public Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm – last admission 5:00 pm – between 1 November and 31 March, and from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm – last admission 6:00 pm – between 1 April and 31 October.
The attics are not accessible to wheelchair users or those who have difficulty climbing floors.
- The Estate of Trianon is open from noon to 5:00 pm between 1 November and 31 March, and from noon to 6:30 pm – last admission 6:00 pm – between 1 April and 31 October.

The Gardens
- Visitors must pay to access the gardens on the days of the Musical Fountains Shows, i.e. Tuesdays to Sundays between April and October.
- The gardens are not easily accessible for people with reduced mobility. Visitors are strongly advised to arrive either by car, and park at the Flotille or Neptune car park, or on foot, via the Queen’s Gate located on Boulevard de la Reine (which can be accessed from the Park).
- If you wish to access the gardens from the Princes Courtyard at the Palace, vehicular access to the Honour Courtyard is free on presentation of documentary proof, e.g. a sticker or mobility card. Parking spaces are available, allowing you to access the gardens more easily. When you arrive, please alert the Estate staff at the Honour Gate.
Getting here and getting around
Acces and parking:
- By car: take the A13 motorway – Versailles Centre exit
The car park at Place d’Armes is managed by the city of Versailles and offers free parking to holders of a permit such as the ‘Carte Mobilité Inclusion’ (mobility card for people with disabilities).
- Public transport:
Regional RER train line C serves Versailles Château Rive Gauche station, which is a 10-mintue walk from the Palace.
Mainline SNCF trains departing from Gare Montparnasse in Paris call at Versailles Chantiers station, which is a 20-minute walk from the Palace.
Mainline SNCF trains departing from Gare Saint Lazare in Paris call at Versailles Rive Droite station, which is a 20-minute walk from the Palace.
RER and SNCF timetables can be consulted on the Transilien website and journey times can be calculated using Citymapper.
