Set out on an exploration of the ornamental pools and groves and their water jets spouting to the rhythm of music. Several circuits are available to allow you to enjoy the numerous masterpieces of the gardens where you can wander through their most secret attractions.
Dates and opening times
Saturdays and Sundays from 31 March to 28 October 2012, as well as some public holidays (8 May, 17 May, 15 August 2012). The fountains spout from 11 am to 12 noon and from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
Tuesdays from 22 May to 26 June 2012, as well as Friday 6 April 2012. The fountains spout from 11 am to 12 noon and from 2:30 to 4:00 pm.

- Passport: €25 comprising the Musical Fountains Show, the visit to the Palace, the Trianon palaces and Marie-Antoinette’s Estate. On-line booking or tickets sold on the spot in the ticket offices of the Palace
NB: if you are allowed free admission for the Palace, you must buy only a ticket for the Musical Fountains Show
- Ticket for the Musical Fountains Show €8.5 (€6.5 reduced rate: 6 to 17 years olds, students, large family card, people with reduced mobility and their companion; €7 reduced rate: adults in a group of 30 people minimum); tickets on sale on-line or on the spot at the entrance to the gardens
- Free admission: 0 to 5 years old, subscribers to “A Year in Versailles”, members of the Société des Amis de Versailles
You can get the most from the gardens in summer when the groves and protected areas of the gardens are accessible on some Tuesdays from April to October for a musical stroll: an opportunity to discover the French formal gardens designed by Le Nôtre.

Music from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. Musical Fountains in the Bassin du Miroir every 10 minutes from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm.

When night falls the gardens are transformed into a fairytale setting in which groves and ornamental pools come alive with water spouts and colours. This year again, light artists emblazon the gardens with a thousand lights and offer strollers their surprising installations, aquatic effects in the Bassin du Miroir, lasers cutting across the night in the Colonnade Grove and a fireworks display beside the Grand Canal to end the performance.

Just before the Fountains Night Show, the musicians and dancers of L'Eclat des Muses - Cie Christine Bayle invite you to a typical French ball under the extravagantly decorated ceiling of the Hall of Mirrors.

Saturday evenings from 16 June to 8 September 2012, two performances lasting 50 minutes at 6:45 and 7:45 pm.
