July 12, 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 Versailles

The Palace of Versailles is getting ready to host an extraordinary sporting event. On July 12, 2026, the Ironman 70.3 will bring together athletes from around the world to push their limits across a 70.3-mile course. The Pièce d’Eau des Suisses will take center stage, providing a stunning setting for the swimming portion of the race.

IRONMAN 70.3 Versailles

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, the Ironman 70.3 will take place in Versailles, where athletes will push themselves across a 70.3-mile course while experiencing the city’s rich history and iconic landscapes. For the occasion, the Palace of Versailles will host the swim portion of the race in the Pièce d’Eau des Suisses. This 13-hectare body of water was excavated between 1679 and 1682 by a Swiss Guards regiment, from which it takes its name. During the running portion of the race, athletes will once again pass alongside the Pièce d’Eau des Suisses before finishing on Avenue de Paris, directly in front of the Palace of Versailles.
